Thieves broke into the Yei Municipality Town Capacity Water building on Monday night and stole supplies from the store.

Ade Federick, an officer working for the Yei Town Water and Sanitation Service, said the thieves broke into the store and looted jerrycans and tires for trucks that supply water to the town.

He added that the thieves had cut the door. He appealed to the community members in the town to report to the police any person selling the stolen properties.

Ade added that this is the second time the robbers tried to loot the store, which is located along the Yei-Juba Road next to the Yei River bridge.
