Yei River County Coffee Farmers associations says that it has exported high quality coffee products to international markets including Geneva.

An association member Edmond Taban Gogo told Radio Easter FM in Yei that 10.5 metric tonnes of coffee exports already reached Geneva.

He added that the first exports overseas through Uganda earned 107,000 South Sudanese pounds for Yei coffee growers.

He encouraged farmers to continue processing coffee for international markets. He said coffee production is on the rise in four payams of Yei River County this year.
