Three women were raped at a home in Hai Zande in Juba earlier this week and were later treated for injuries at Juba Teaching Hospital, according to a medical source.

Abraham Adut, Director for the Accident and Emergency Department, told Radio Tamazuj today that unknown attackers entered the home and beat family members before raping the women.

This happened on Wednesday morning around 7:00. He said the women were treated and later discharged from the hospital today.

Adut said the hospital recorded about seven cases of rape since the beginning of December.
