The Sudanese national government announced a six-day public holiday from Friday 3 October to Wednesday 9 October.

In a public notice extended to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), the Cabinet Ministry in Khartoum stated, “Following Eid al-Adha holiday all the employees will commence their normal work according to working hours applicable in Sudan.”

The cabinet passed its congratulations to all Muslim communities worldwide on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
