Security operatives in En Nahud town in Sudan’s West Kordofan have re-arrested three members of the Sudanese Congress Party in the state.

Credible sources told Radio Tamazuj that Abdel Halim and Ali Mahdi al-Sanusi were jailed again for six months under the emergency law after being released on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Samia Kiir was also imprisoned for six months after she had appeared before a court on Sunday on charges under articles 77 and 50 of the Sudanese penal code.

Another three SCP members and journalist Hassan Ishaq as well as Dr. Sadig Nurain are still in prison in El Odeid town in North Kordofan. They are expected to be incarcerated again for six months, according to the same source.‫
