President Omar al-Bashir is scheduled to address the closing session of the ruling National Congress Party’s (NCP) Political Section conference at Friendship Hall on Monday evening.

The conference comes at the conclusion of the sector conferences of the ruling party attended by 1500 members.

In a press statement yesterday in Khartoum, National Congress Party Information Secretary Yasser Yusuf said the session will be honoured by deputy president for party affairs Ibrahim Ghandour and the chairman of the political sector Hassabo Mohamed Abdul Rahman.
