South Sudan security ban unofficial currency traders

South Sudan security authorities on Sunday banned traders of hard currency as part of a crackdown on the black market.

Multiple sources told Radio Tamazuj that security agents banned the sale of US dollar on the black market in Konyo Konyo, Custom and Juba markets.

This comes after the central bank announced that it formed a committee to study the possibility of changing the fixed rate between the dollar and the pound.
