About six houses were reported burned in an attack by unknown armed group on a family house at Ngomba area in Wau County in South Sudan’s Western Bahr al Ghazal State on Tuesday night, according to a county offical.

The newly appointed commissioner of Wau County Anthony Fada accused rebels of carrying out the attack. He pointed out that the six houses including properties were burned in the attack.

Meanwhile, one of the affected families explained that the attack came at night. However, he said all family members survived and ran into the bush for safety.
