Scores of people have reportedly arrived in Abu Jabeha in South Kordofan having fled fighting in Talodi, Kalogi and Leri between the Sudanese army and the Sudan Revolutionary Front in South Kordofan.

The flow of people is continuing on a daily basis raising fears that the fighting may soon move to the area.

The number of people escaping their villages is rising and putting pressure on the already weak transport infrastructure, causing price rises of tickets for the few operating buses, said sources to Radio Tamazuj.
