The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs announced that it has assessed new possible operating centers in Lankien, Koch, Pagak, Old Fangak and Leer. Teams are planning to investigate Akobo and Ganyiel, as well.

Once they are operational, the centers are designed to boost humanitarian operations by speeding up the response during South Sudan’s current dry season.
