The Labour Union branches of Adila and Abu Karinka, East Darfur State, have protested large deductions from the staff salaries by the state and locality authorities.

The Secretary-General of the Labours Union in Adila and Abu Karinka localities, Ahmed Hamed Mireikha Hajar, told Radio Dabanga that deductions amounting to 15 percent were applied to the February, June and July salaries of the employees and labourers.
