Goldmine collapse in Blue Nile kills 1, injures 4

One person has been killed and three others injured after the collapse of a gold mine in Balgwa area, south of Roseires town in Blue Nile state.

Sources from the area did not name the victims but told Radio Tamazuj that they had been illegally exploring for gold.

The sources also noted the recent occurrence of a similar incident although that collapse resulted in no casualties.
