Flooding after heavy rains hit the western mountain areas of Sudan’s South Kordofan state Wednesday morning.

Houses were destroyed in Dilling, Habila, Hamadi, El Radif, Maasir, and El Marafit, sources told Radio Tamazuj.

Locals said the bridge between Kadugli and El Obeid, recently repaired after flood damage, could break again due to continued water flowing from Jebaila.
