Local leaders say primary and secondary schools in the Abu Karshola locality in Sudan’s South Kordofan state are deteriorating due to a lack of teachers, chairs and an overall poor educational environment.

A local leader, who preferred anonymity, told Radio Tamazuj that there are no chairs in the schools and warned that it is affecting students’ performance.
