Bread shortage in Sudan’s Kosti town, White Nile

Kosti town in Sudan’s White Nile state is reportedly facing a severe shortage of bread at bakeries due to a lack of flour in the area.

Several complaining citizens said that the price of bread has increased from 30 piasters to 40.

They further said a bag of flour bought directly from the Tana Company cots 200 Sudanese pounds, whereas Sen Flour reaches 210 Sudanese pounds.

Separately, the coach of El Marikh team in Kosti Mohamed El Tayib expressed satisfaction about qualification of the team for the first time to the Sudanese Premier League after beating El Ahli Atbara team 4-1 over the last two days.
