Blue Nile University students protest dismissal of their colleagues

Students from the College of Engineering in Blue Nile University in Roseires town protested in the university plaza Thursday against the dismissal of three students from the college dormitory.

The students’ representative from Roseires town said that the administration of the National Students Fund, a body in charge of the students affairs, dismissed three students for protesting against the transfer of the internal library to a new location.

Seven others were threatened with dismissal.

The student further noted that the three dismissed students were also accused of taking library textbooks into their rooms and refused to meet with authorities on the issue. Radio Tamazuj could not able to confirm the matter from the University management.
