Blue Nile refugees at Doro camp need new tents

Hundreds of Blue Nile refugees at Doro camp in Maban County, Upper Nile face a deteriorating humanitarian situation.

Several refugees told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that they were experiencing shortages of food and shelter.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has not distributed tents since 2012, one refugee alleged.

They also complained that tarpaulins given by UNHCR in the past have become outdated and accused people of selling plastic sheets for commercial purposes.
