The newly appointed minister of finance in South Sudan’s Aweil State vowed to mobilize resources to deliver basic services in the state.

"Service delivery needs resources and proper management of funds," said Kuac Wek Wol in a press statement to Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday.

"Also, plans for development should be there. I want to sure the people of Aweil that I will work hard to deliver services in the state," he added.

The government official emphasized the importance of transparency in development.” I will be transparent to make sure that we deliver what we can,” Kuac said.
