The South Sudanese police in Juba have arrested five men suspected of committing robberies in Konyo Konyo and Atlabara areas of Juba.

Central Equatoria State Police Commissioner Maj. General Henry Danima told Radio Miraya the police have recovered thousands of pounds and airtime scratch cards from the suspects.

“They managed to rob a shop in Konyo Konyo but they were pursued by our CID on a motorbike and they were arrested. Two people were arrested and till this morning we have rounded up five in total and a bunch of airtime scratch cards worth about 2,000.”
