At least three people bitten by snake died and other person is still receiving treatment after flooding caused an infestation of them in populated areas of Gogrial West County in Warrap stat.

County commissioner Makol Aru told Radio Tamazuj that the death toll rose to three due to snake bites over the last three days in the area.

The top county official also warned of a dire  living conditions due to floods, saying that a large number of people have fled their homes in search of high grounds to stay safe. 

He pointed out that about 31 schools have been forced to close due floods that hit the county.
