225 malnourished children in southern Warrap

Health workers identified in southern Warrap State 225 malnourished children in Tonj South and East, according to Don Bosco Radio FM. 

World Vision Nutrition Field Coordinator Augustino Marial Madut said they registered both malnourished and undernourished children for supplementary feeding programmes, the Catholic station reported.

The coordinator said they are running the programmes in Tonj South and East for young children. He said on Friday they distributed sorghum, sugar and oil for children in Thiet and will also distribute the same in Jack Payam on Monday.

He urged communities to take care of their children’s cards to get food to keep their children healthy.
