Yei governor rotates cabinet members
The governor of Yei River State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony on Thursday issued orders, in which he rotated his cabinet members from one ministry to another.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj Thursday, the state Information minister, Mawa Moses said the new changes aimed at improving service delivery and to place officials according to academic qualifications.
“The former minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Evans Sokiri Kijore has been appointed as the new minister for Local Government and Law Enforcement. The former minister for Education, Kenyi Abiyaza has been appointed minister for Agriculture and Forestry,” Mawa said.
He added, “Christine Anite, formerly the minister for Gender and Social Development has been appointed as the new minister for Health and Environment and the former Health minister, Kogo Manase has been appointed as the minister for Education while Awate Esther has been appointed as the new minister for Gender and Social Welfare”.
Adil appointed Huda Michel Laila as his advisor on humanitarian affairs, Mawa said.
Separately, the governor appointed Joy Keji as the new commissioner of Mukaya County.
