The University of Upper Nile near the border of South Sudan will next week enrol the first batch of students returning from the north, since the independence of the South.

A source from the Science department said the University will merge with the University of Malakal to pool together limited resources.

He stressed that the university is facing problems this year, particualrly in the department of veterinary medicine.
