Kapoeta police authorities Wednesday evening detained two men after they presented themselves at the police station and handed over their vehicle documents.

Henry Lokimer John, a traffic police investigator told Radio Tamazuj that investigations have been launched after it was noted that the vehicle that had been parked at the police station seemed to have been involved in an accident.

 “These two men came on high speed and parked illegally in our premises. The one driving brought out all the vehicle’s original legal documents and handed to me. He told me to keep the documents till tomorrow morning when he comes to pick the documents and the vehicle,” Lokimer said.

“Based on our inspection of this car, there are a lot of damages in front, both sides and top part with some human blood wrinkled in some parts of the vehicle,” he continued.

Lokimer said they then decided to detain the two and the vehicle as further investigations are carried out.
