Rizeigat and Dinka Malwal conclude conference on coexistence
On Monday a conference addressing peaceful coexistence between the Rizeigat and Dinka Malwal ethnic groups concluded in the Aweil area, northern Bahr al Ghazal, South Sudan
Leaders of both groups were present and asked their clans to remember the historical links between them, when they lived peacefully alongside each other.
They agreed to resolve disputes using local courts, and maintain clear communication between them to ensure freedom of movement in the territory for both groups.
One of the leaders of the Rizeigat told Radio Tamazuj that the meeting reached mutually satisfactory solutions, with controversial issues being discussed such as joint livestock markets.
