The opposition National Democratic Movement (NDM) led by Lam Akol Saturday endorsed the revitalized peace agreement.

NDM’s Secretary for Political Affairs Mahjoub Biel told Radio Tamazuj on Monday that the NDM leadership council met in Khartoum and ratified the revitalized peace agreement which was signed on 12 September.

Mahjoub pointed out that a 10-member committee was set up to represent the NDM group at the upcoming meetings of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA) to endorse the signed peace deal.

Over the weekend, the SPLM-IO Liberation Council (SPLM-NCL) held a meeting and endorsed the peace deal.
