Discussions have taken place in Western Bahr el-Ghazal between members of the state and national legislative assembly and constituents.  The South Sudanese SUNDE network organised the talks in order to promote greater dialogue between the respective groups. 

Alawia Abdal-Majid from the Sawa-Sawa Society stated that three constituencies from Wau were selected to take part. Most constituents to attend the event focussed on matters of insecurity and issues with public services.

SUNDE is a civil society organization created by the US-funded National Democratic Institute.
