A group of gunmen killed a policeman and injured others on the border between South Kordofan and Northern Bahr al Ghazal.

A local official Kiir Await said an armed group of Misseriya attacked a checkpoint at Tom Kew on Tuesday, shooting a policeman dead and injuring two others.

Await expressed surprise at the attack after the Misseriya, Dinkia Malwal and Rizeigat composed committees to resolve their issues around land sharing and fnding ways to disarm members of each group.
