A man was shot dead by unidentified robbers in his house in Maridi town in South Sudan’s Maridi State, relatives of the victim said.

The relatives told Radio Tamazuj that the incident which occurred on Friday left them in a deep sorrow.

Cases of armed robbery are common in South Sudan due to the proliferation of arms in the hands of citizens, besides the deteriorating economic conditions.
