ACROSS South Sudan, an inter-denominational Christian organization facilitated a one-day inter-state bordering community peace dialogue in Alualuak Payam of Lakes State on Wednesday.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, the Executive Director of Ngop Payam Benjamin Mayor Alouny stated some of the resolutions. 

"The participants have made some resolutions which include the abolition of cattle exchange, cattle raidings, cattle theft, revenge killing, destruction of properties like the burning of houses and road ambushed," he said. 

He added that the participants who share common borders agreed to allow freedom of movement, trade, disarmament, and the establishment of border security forces.

Benjamin mayor said all these agreements will be implemented soon to stabilize the security along the borders.

The executive chief of Mapuordit of Lakes State John Chol Akec said if all the resolutions of the peace and reconciliation dialogue are implemented the security situation will improve and there will be relative peace.

"If you come to Mapuordit Hospital, you will see the Jurbeli community from Kakhor payams have brought their families who are sick to Mapuordit Hospital for treatment, and everyone is enjoying movements along the road at the border," Akec said.

The event brought 25 participants from Mvolo county of Western Equatoria state,25 participants from Rumbek East county, and 40 participants from Mapuordit and Alualuak Payams of Lakes State.
