Boma governor promises to recover abducted children
The governor of South Sudan’s Boma State Ismail Konyi has promised to recover all children abducted by members of the Murle tribe and reunite them with their families.
Governor Konyi said this during a function organized in Juba on Saturday.
“I will be good for nothing if I don’t bring back the abducted children and return them to their parents,” he said.
However, the state official didn’t mention a specific date to recover the children abducted by members of his tribe from neighboring communities.
The official stressed that the adductors will face the law.
