Babanusa youth criticize absence of development

Youth leaders in Babanusa have criticized the deterioration of basic services in the state and contend that the situation reached ‘a terrible’ state.

In a written statement circulated in the region, the youth criticized the failure of Governor Ahmed Haroun in the implementation of development projects which he had pledged to establish during his election campaign.

The statement stressed on the worsening electricity, health, and educational services, the halt of work on the Babanusa-Muglad road, and other projects including the water network of Babanusa and the Sports Stadium.

In the statement, the youth claimed that the governor’s pledges during the last elections were a deception of the citizens.
