A secondary school teacher was found dead in Bor town of South Sudan’s Jonglei State on Thursday morning, a police official said.

Bor Town Police Inspector Philip Ayuen Awur said the teacher identified as Aliet Kuch was killed and dumped near Park Palace Hotel in Bor.

“We found the man dead. We do not know who killed him,” he said.

Awur pointed out that the post-mortem indicated that the former Malek Secondary School teacher was beaten to death, adding his killers are still at large.
