Three children passed away in a fire that burnt down a house in Girgir in Upper Nile State. The rest of the family members were transferred to the hospital to receive treatment for their wounds.

In an interview with Radio Tamazuj, a number of members from the family accused an unknown group of being behind the fire which broke out at the family home at night and led to the occurrence of the deaths of the children.
