Two people were critically injured and three children abducted when unknown gunmen attacked a commercial vehicle travelling on the Juba-Bor road Thursday morning, police said.

Jonglei’s police commissioner Chol Atem told Radio Tamazuj that the incident occurred when an armed group attacked a commercial vehicle carrying 12 passengers near Panpitiak area on Thursday morning.

“An armed group attacked a vehicle carrying passengers to Juba at 11 am. The attackers injured 2 people and abducted 3 children,” he said.
